Sociasylum was first established in 2011 as a trio playing fastcore/powerviolence. Due to changes within, the band became a quartet and changed their musical direction more towards hardcore and grindcore with taking many influences from various extreme music sub-genres. In 2021, the latest line-up continues working on new material to follow up previous full-length “Crossroads”.
